Seepex Progressive Cavity Pumps

Seepex pump offerings are separated into materials of construction categories below. These offerings are available as a Seepex wet-end only -or- as a Seepex wet-end/Nord gear-box assembly. If you require a complete Seepex/Nord assembly, please choose the gear-box reduction ratio that best services your application specific flow requirements from the pull down menu within the required materials of construction category.

Gear-box Selection Tips: To promote maximum pump life, it is suggested that progressive cavity pumps are not run at rotational speeds higher than 350 RPM. The maximum capacity of the pump is listed at 350 RPM for quick reference on potential output. The final rotational speed of the pump rotor is based on the RPM of the motor being used along with the gear-box reduction ratio. Dividing the maximum motor speed (RPM) by the gear-box reduction ratio will calculate the maximum final rotational speed of the rotor.

Sample Calculation: An 1800 RPM motor coupled with a 20.59:1 gear-box and a pump with a capacity of 100 cc/minute at 350 RPM:

1800 RPM Motor (DIVIDED by) 20.59 = 87 RPM maximum pump speed
100 cc/min pump capacity (DIVIDED by) 350 RPM = 0.285 cc/RPM
87 RPM max pump speed (MULTIPLIED by) 0.285 cc/RPM = 24.8 cc/minute max capacity
